A lot of great running backs do not run 4.4, you can look at walter, E. smith, (two of the top of all time) then you look around the n.f.l. today and you have Marshawn Lynch, frank gore, McCoy, A foster to name a few. it's having vision and the biggest thing that is over looked is the ability to break tackles.

agreed. I'd add Curtis Martin to that list too (simply because I loved watching him run). Vision and patience, which go hand in hand sometimes, is part of made him/them great.
