Sitkowski was the best? Canada told him he was his top QB recruit. No contact with top in state QB recruit. A week later Sitkowski commits to Miami. Next let's offer a Washington commitment whose from the state of Washington? Oh OK.

At one point Kenan Jones, Dylan Moses, Devonta Jason and Corrione Harris (There are numerous others) were LSU commits from the state of Louisiana. When kids get offers, things change

Adore Jackson, Feliepe Franks, Jhamon Ausbon and countless others labeled LSU their "Dream School" and committed elsewhere. If anything the Dream school curse almost signifies you will commit elsewhere. Especially in LSU's case.
ETA: I see you don't have many posts and you may be new to recruiting on this site therefore you may not get the Dream School reference.

only thing weird about it is you're not used to recruiting a QB that's not last-minute, it's obvious Canada scouts nationally.

Doesn't hurt to offer the best. Jacob Eason is from Washington and now plays at Georgia. You just never know in the game of recruiting.
