I don't think I'd say that. The article in the T-P this morning makes me think there is reason to believe he really was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
T-P Article
If he is, in fact, innocent, then it's a great lesson for everyone that who you hang out with matters.
We'll see how it goes.

released from jail Tuesday on $25,000 bond after a week there
Damn, this must have been just excruciating for him and everyone involved. It sounds like there is a decent chance he's innocent, and if he just got unlucky to be at the place, then that week in jail just sucks even more. If the charges against him are dropped, does anyone know if his family gets the $25,000 back?

If they paid the 25k themselves they get it back. If they payed $2500 to a bondsman then they dont get the 2500 back thats his fee. He puts up the 25k and gets the 25k back if you show up at your hearing.

Not sure, if his attorney's story is true, then I imagine the charges will be dropped at some point.

bingo....if he has a good lawyer then he shouldnt have had to pay but 50 bucks to get out. not sure what the laws are like there.

WHO IN THE HELL hired fricking Glenn guilbleaux to the USA TODAY??? you have to be frickin kidding me.
I hope Shreveport fired his arse. I frickin hate that guy. Having to read his shite on LSU for so damn long - he deserves jail time.

Normally, police arrest everyone in the room. One cop said something along the lines that they don't, but they do because at the time they don't have a clue who all is involved and who ain't. This youngster probably got caught up in a web and hopefully it shakes out that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I noticed that as well... Maybe it's just a story they picked-up off the wire?

No, shite, it has USAToday in the byline. Wow.
Ah, and at the end:
Glenn Guilbeau also writes for Gannett Louisiana.

Gannett owns the newpaper that GG works for so technically everything he does the USA Today can use
