Up to 4, more likely 3. Fournette, Cam, Willis, and Hootie.

I feel pretty good about all of these guys except for Willis.

Is that RB from Oklahoma gonna end up a 5*?

His name is Devon Thomas.

If he is a 5*, it will be impressive. He plays on a team where he shares carries with another running back who will be a senior this coming year.

The other running back, Cameron Wrenn, gained 1139 yards on 179 attempts and had 20 TD's.

Devon Thomas had 1840 on 201 carries with 24 TD's.

ETA: Wrenn has no offers yet. Thomas has offers from OU, Okie St., West Virginia, Clemson & Houston.

Good info, Chinese.

I just read on Rivals that Tim Williams is on the verge of 5 star status.

LSU at #8 on Rivals
And we're still in play for Williams, Beckwith, Prevot, jones, smith, Jefferson, Gilmore, pagano, Willis, and goodman who are all 4*

Also in play with TE Josh McNeil Hillside HS(Durham, NC) another 4*

LSU offered today and is now in his top five. Free article from Scout (Michael Clark)

quote:

Josh McNeil is one of the top prospects in America and has over 40 scholarship offers. On Thursday night, McNeil trimmed his list to five schools.

“Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida, and Miami are my final five schools,” said Josh McNeil (6’5/240).

McNeil will visit Alabama this Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, he will head to Georgia. He will also visit the school that offered him tonight very soon.

“I just confirmed I will be taking a visit to LSU with Lewis Neal (6’2/235) when he goes on June 23
,” he said.

Discussed this in another thread. Some people were saying we will take 3 TE prospects in this class. Should I say we might take 3 TE in this class. With Stokes Desean and McNeil.

Inform me a bit as I am no expert on this. But why would anyone ever take 3 TE's in a single class?

We return 3 after this season, but yea, I don't see a reason to carry 6 TEs.

Missing out on John Thomas didn't really hurt us last year. He is going the Juco route. This year we want a replacement basically. Logan stokes looks like he will be a good blocking TE. Desean is in our back yard and simply too good to pass on. McNeil is our latest TE offer. I don't understand it, but I don't mind either. He is a really good looking prospect.

I think the coaches will always go after and keep a spot for Smith.

However, I think these moves also show that they are not going to sit around and do nothing while they wait for him.

This is a very good thing imo. It sends a powerful message to the kids.

Les likes TEs. Easier to turn a TE into a T than any other position.

Yea but the TEs we're after like smith and McNeil are closer to being WRs than they are lineman.
