I get my hair cut by the same guy as Reid and I've heard him talk about a degree like it matters. His parents are well off and he was the valedictorian at dutchtown. He could be the first safety taken, but I think he'll graduate.
One of the LSU's best all around.
If he doesn't go pro it will be for the reasons described above.

Half speculation, half insider info....i know a grad assistant at usc who says goodman will not have a spot on the team due to the other commits unless something crazy happens to one of their currents. Goodman and willis will be taking official visits for the bama game, goodman was on the fence about even visiting but as my buddy put it "they are trying to encourage goodman to explore other options
This is true. Max Redfield is higher on the coaches' board for USC. He tried to commit a couple of weeks ago and was told to hold off for now.

Every guess is speculation. Some believe Willis is a silent commit to USC already. Personally I think he is just playing and enjoying the recruiting game. When CB Jaylon Ramsey commits (who is who I really want), and a potential commit later from someone who would absolutely shake up one of your rivals recruiting efforts, Willis might not have room.
We are taking 5 DBs, and with Redfield and Ramsey inevitable commits, we will be at 4. Goodman is probably going to be left out of the picture in all likelihood.

So you think SCw has a good shot at getting Vernon Hargreaves III?

Doubt it, either Florida State or USF, in my opinion. If his dad leaves for another school..then that changes everything.

Who is Jaylon Ramsey??
My bad, Jalen Ramsey. He won Rivals 5* Challenge MVP, and was easily the best looking CB at the event by a wide margin.
Ramsey is ranked as the best player in Tennessee.
There is talk that he might be moving significantly up the rankings (cusp of 5*) because of his performance.

I don't know. All I know is he and pops are going out to spend three days at USC in July. His dad and our secondary coach are friends.

And y'all are taking him over Willis? Any particular reason why? Other than your coaches thinking he is better?

I don't know if we are taking him over Willis. We have 18 offers this year, and we are only taking five secondary players. Four spots are officially filled (Redfield and Ramsey are "rumored"-- the worst kept secret-- already to be committed. One spot left is what is known.

Hope you guys are right about Baker & Stokes... like I said I dnt know nuthin about stokes but baker look less then impressive on the highlights.. He falls at the slightes contact, looks slow & I'm not gonna sell myself on him just because he is a LSU commit... he won't see the feild at WR for years redshirt junior maybe..maybe, or likley transfer... you can say I dnt follow recruiting if you want but time will show who is right about Baker he will be the worst WR on the team next yr & incoming WRs will consistanly pass him on the depth chart...he is the trey grainer of this class if he stays at WR atleast... go ahead bash me & say idk what I'm talkin about lol I'm sure its coming.

If you are gonna bash a recruit and forever make up your mind on a recruit based off of junior HS highlight film, you are a dumbass. Do you know the run/pass ratio at Salmen? Are you at all qualified to evaluate HS film? Have you seen him doing position specific drills at a camp? Have you ever seen him run a route tree? Did you know the same coaches at Salmen have developed kids that have gone on to the nfl?
What makes you think that is appropriate here? Save that for the rant, AFTER NSD.

That's not saying much.
