Texas A&M is taking over Texas on a scale like LSU takes over Louisiana. How on earth are almost ALL of the elite prospects going there?
I knew this could happen, and probably would..but not this fast

Belton at the WM 7 on 7 this past weekend. Heard he looked very sharp. WM went undefeated in bracket play to win.

Like Bear said, 90% of CFB is recruiting. Which, for him, pairs well with the saying "if you ain't cheating you ain't trying".
JRB is looking bigger for sure, I'd say 220-230lbs now. He's not lazy. But can't forget that LSU doesn't offer in-state unless they are absolutely sure they will take the commitment. Just food for thought.

I watched the 7 on 7 tourney up in alexandria two weekends ago. WM's qb didnt stand out to me. Mandeville beat WM both times they played. Best QB there was the kid from Calvary.

I believe the backup played in Alexandria. WM lost 4 games that weekend. Belton played every game except one this weekend. WM lost the one he sat out.
ETA: I'm sure a pocket passer would look better than a dual threat in 7 on 7 when the DT is not allowed to run.

The way his interviews are going on other sites. He really talks up LSU, and in a unique fashion. Not the "they were the first off offer" line..or the "recruiting me the hardest".

I saw that Chapman from central committed to Miami, is he still waiting on an LSU offer? I remember rumblings that e would get one and commit at a camp a while back

I'm sure he's still waiting. Who really knows? Maybe he's just securing a spot. Miami is no pushover and is a good academic school depending on what he wants to go for
