Good stuff, thanks. I was wondering what the early signing class would look like

Holy crap. I was thinking 3, maybe 5. I just assumed the early date was kind of a thing most would ignore.

Thanks for the info

When is Terrace Marshall's decision date?

That's crazy. LSU could end up with almost the entire class signing early. That would be a huge advantage going into next season.

You just hit on something I never thought of... spending resources (esp. $ and time) on 2019 in Jan has got to be an advantage. I wonder if other schools are seeing lists this long. I guess we'll know Dec 22nd.

Just because they're signing early doesn't mean they're enrolling early.

I thought there was a cap on those who could sign early?

True. So you're talking about on the field advantage right (as with EE's)?

I'm on a different path here, please bear with me. So this early signing period is indeed a LOI? So is binding to transfer rules?

Or is this another version of early financial aid agreement (binding the school, but not the player)?

I'm hoping Surtain and/or Foster surprises the coaching surprise on Christmas morning.

Correct.

Signing early in December does not mean enrolling early in January.

However, it will mean that LSU will not have to expend time and resources in January recruiting those players who sign early.

I guess O is really pushing for everyone to sign early. I was hoping to hang on to Wore and Washington. Both have pretty good potential. Go check out Washington’s film if you haven’t. I think he’s accounted for like over 25 ints in his hs career. Dude looks special

Thank you, clears things up for me. In all honesty, I confused myself with a brainfart.

One thing I do know (and haven't confused myself about) is that this early signing period, unlike Feb, is 2 days long only. No fax by Dec 22nd, have to wait until Feb. So unfortunately, no Christmas day surprises.

Thanks for sharing. Overall from things I have read on 247 and other sites it sounds like we can expect 5-8 EE's which will be great for spring practice reps.

According to Nola.com, grades will be a factor whether he signs early or not

After all the complaining I'll literally laugh out loud if we end up closing with 16-17 4 and 5 star guys
