It's a 3 minute video, but worth a watch. The guy is very well spoken and handles himself with class.

Wow this kid is very poised. Has a great attitude and intelligent.Whoever gets this young man is getting a good one. Hope he chooses LSU but wish he and his family the best wherever he decides to go.

You're not guilty of anything besides being a little dopey. "Well-spoken" is code for a black guy who exceeds a bigot's expectations by being articulate. You never hear the term except when black men are being discussed. It's representative of the soft bigotry of which the practitioner is often unaware.
This doesn't imply that you meant it that way. However, I would guess that to a black person, the term "well-spoken" must really grate.
We can all agree that this kid is amazing. I hope he has a great football career, and I hope he's wearing P&G.

Well spoken can also refer to the fact that the kid speaks with confidence and a level of articulation that exceeds his years.
A large number of teens, even those graduating high school (and regardless of ethnicity) simply have yet to develop the requisite level of confidence to string together cohesive thought that displays an appropriate level of intelligence without mumbling, adding "uh", "like" or "you know", etc. White kids do it too, regardless of what some (or one) of the respondents implies.

To be well spoken is attributed to hard work at speech and can be an art form if done properly. It's a beautiful thing!
