The fact that he’s an Istrouma kid , and from that area of town, arguably the worst area of town, makes me want him to succeed at LSU. That kind of stuff is important. Local kid wins. I’m all for that.

Is this the old "I'm gonna show LSU some love so they don't recruit another RB and swerve them for Bama at the last minute" play?

I mean, it is the oldest trick in the book.

No, cause they told him to commit in the first place.

They said he would lose his spot if he didn't.

Holy crap idk when the last time LSU had locked down Louisianas top 10. I tell you what told my dad years ago, if lsu lands the top 10 players in the state every year they will always compete or be in the running for national championships...

Best iv felt about lsu landing all the LA top 10 guys in a long long time.
247 LA top 40, favored 10 of top 10 and 13 of top 15. let's geaux!!

We could get most of Louisiana’s top 10 every year if we wanted. It’s based on need and whether or not we can get a better player from out of state.

2022 may be a little dicey because there's so much talent and a lot of it looking at bama.

Of course some years it's not right with having stacked multiple players same position and a oos kids position that we evaluated higher, but this top ten class is at the top of there positions almost across the board, but this year we need all of them and they are all looking at us seriously and I think feel the love. If we close 10 for 10 this is a huge deal, that means zero guys went elsewhere that we really wanted. This could be like the 2001 class imo greatest of all time.

When citizen, anderson, etienne, and ausberry are the 10-14 rated players in your state that's a good problem.

They need to clean up in state this year cause this doesn't happen all the time

Pimp I have nooo idea who you are, but after just reading your statement. First congratulations to your parent/s for obviously raising you correctly. But most important if we all thought like that how nice it would be. Damn man you nailed it. I gonna get Chicken send you a cap and shirt.

2nd do have bad news, we couldn’t hurdle the legal trouble I was talking about with current commit. It will come out.

There’s tons and tons of positive energy on campus. Our boys are in shape, and getting coached up like never before.
