Great pick up for the Tigers and great dicision by this young man. These 3* shouldn't be for long and even if they are they are great players with tons of size and upside! Now Divinity, Joyner, and another one of those Texas boys come on down and join these ballers! Add a couple more DTs and this D will be nasty. Why wouldn't a big time DT want to come play here? They have to see what LSU is building is the real deal. Go Tigers!

What's the deal with all these guys being 3*? Is it just because they're under the radar or what?

This. The upcoming class is still getting evaluated fully. More accurate ratings will be out by end of summer once the camp circuits conclude.

I love the pick up of these tall big athletic kids....so much versatility once they get on campus.

I am not knocking the physically mature dominant 5 star guys, but sometimes...especially on D, they seem hard to predict.....think Freak, Garrett, Woods.

Yes, Freak and Woods had good careers here, but I don't think they were as impactful as we all hoped.

Everytime I see tall edge defenders, I think Mingo.

He runs the 300 hurdles in 42.92... At 225... Has the makings of a fantastic OLB who can drop in coverage with hips like that.

Freak was a bit of a flop. Never took over games like Dorsey or Brockers did and.

There's a camp circuit going on right now. It will conclude by the end of summer. At that time, more accurate ratings will be out.

He wasn't a flop, just average. As a backup in 2012 he was pretty goof, 30 tackles 10 TFL (3rd on team) and 3 sacks. The problem was that it didn't carry over when he was a starter.
