I think people are over-exaggerating on Chavis leaving. Personally, I think Mack just loves the attention because it doesn't make sense as to why Chavis leaving would cause him to cancel his OV so quickly.

Again, not sure how they would co-exist if both coached DL. I am 100% OK with losing Brick for Orgeron.

I honestly don't know a lot about Ed Orgeron but I always hear he's a hell if a recruiter, so Thats why I want him. Need to get him on the staff ASAP.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but why could we not work that out with him?
I don't know all the specifics, but I know players love him, recruits love him, he's from Louisiana and I have to believe he could lock up the defensive players in the state as well as pull from other places.

I agree 100%, I hope we hire him. Just think he is past the point in his career of being a position coach and he wants the responsibility of HC or assistant. Not saying it couldn't work out, but with Frank as recruiting coordinator and assistant HC already, he would have to
A. Be willing to take DC, which is at least a possibility but I dont think his preference
or
B. Agree to be a position coach or co-DC with whoever we hire (Hopefully Pendergast if not Bebe) and joint recruiting coordinator, and I just dont see him taking this.
ETA
Unless I am missing some scenario, any suggestions? I am basing most of what I am saying off of what I have heard from him for the last year or so
