Big ed i quoted you saying
So again wtf are you even trying to pull here?
You stated you think he comes to LSU. So its ok for you to say it, but not for anyone else? Maybe you need to go read through some of ur posts and edit them accordingly. You are making yourself look like a jackass

Can I get in my 2 cents?
I was in a restaurant a while back, I was talking with Chris Carrier, while talking his phone rang. Chris said, "Hold on, its Eric Reid." I waited, then Chris hangs up and said, "Eric's going to LSU!" He just wanted Chris to know.
Most coaches know if a kids coming or just taking up his time. They better, you loose two kids. That one and the other kid that was to take his spot that year. You can't have many of those. Good staffs have an order and fill slots quickly. LSU's staff has done a good job of finding the right kids and moving on if needed.
Kids now days (With the internet, cell phones, facebook, etc.) know more about the teams they are looking at than ever before. Yes most towns, schools in LA. know whats going on at LSU. Many kids follow recruiting, they know who they have to compete with for a position. Some don't like another player from the same position committing the same year, LSU had this come up this year. Kids look over a roster and see where they fit in, its done all the time. They see whos leaving (Grads.) and whos coming in.
Years ago kids had the Miami, Fla. St., Mich. ect. clothes on. Many were going out of state, some still do. But for the most part, many will stay home, their family will come into play at times. Many that go off do ok, many never do.
Les and his staff have done a better job than most of keeping the talent in state.
I can promise this, most in state kids know what LSU is doing in football. There is too much out there. High School coaches can help or hurt a kid, most help. Look at the roster.
You never know how a kid will end up once at college. Some come from homes that most food comes from a can, box or fast food. Once in college, the menu, diet, workouts change, then they change.
One coach said something like, "Don't worry about the ones you loose, worry about the ones you have."
Sometimes, moving on is good in the coaching profession.

He would give up his first born to have Landon.

BigEd was saying that Dutchtown is pro LSU but Geismar is not. I asked him to tell me what school Geismar kids attended because I thought they attended the Dutchtown schools. If that is the case, then his point makes no sense.
Where was I asking him to tell me where any specifically named kid goes to school?

How is Geismar not pro-LSU? Its practically a stone's throw from Baton Rouge.

I think we do well with recruiting. I'm just glad we are not any longer offering free or discounted apartments by rogue coaches. I think we have that under control now. If you're in state then normally those kids stay in LA. If they don't, you don't play fire with fire. LSU hasn't historically done that apart from McCarthy (under Miles watch).

Les has done well with this. Better than most.
