But 312 is crying in his Cherrios about Tim frickin Williams.

No. He's just bring his Hitler-esque, podium banging tirades to this board to try to convince that LSU was dying for Williams and that everyone listed in the first post mad huge impacts for Alabama and that LSU will lose most top Louisiana talent to Alabama for years to come.

Pretty much the whole second half at A&M was three down lineman.

Name the 4 linebackers.

It's not a good thing to loose top in state recruits to anyone (not just bama). We all know this. The difference is, we also recognize that even though it isn't a good thing

the problem is in thinking its a bad thing or a good thing. Its not a good thing to not get players from your home state you want, but that doesn't make it a bad thing. 2 of the top 3 players from Alabama signed out of state last year. Is that a bad thing?

LINK
The point is to get 85 good football players. Now, most people go to college close to where they live and when you have a state with as much talent as La, it gives you a huge advantage toward having a good football team as long as you get MOST of the top players, which we do. That said, if you do not get all the top 25 players from the state, then you need to get good players from other states. Which frankly the current staff has done better than any previous LSU staff.

That was a 3-2-6

Not a 3-4

Even if it was that was the only time hes ever really done that. You cant say he plays 3-4 a lit

Y'all are missing the point. It's about locking down our state. Regardless of how many actually pan out, I would rather Lacy, Bell, Collins, and Williams be on our roster.

A: LSU can't get em all
B: Some of these kids would rather play out-of-state
C: LSU gets it's share of awesome talent from other states (Peterson, Montgomery, Russell, etc).

He's choosing to completely ignore that the coaches told Williams the only way he'd have place in LSU's signing class was if other people went elsewhere on signing day.

I agree 100%. That's why I said "it's not good" rather than "it's bad".

If you want to get into a pissing match about sources and access to the program, you're going to lose. If you truly believe that LSU suddenly decided that Williams wasn't talented enough for program and abandoned his recruitment as a result, you are even dumber than you sound on the internet, which is difficult to believe. They came to the conclusion that he was unlikely to be swayed to LSU and re-prioritized. That's what actually happened.

Even if that was true, it was because they thought he was going to Miami or maybe FSU. The week before he signed the Bama insiders were saying that's where he was going, they were shocked Saban pressed for him, but why let facts get in the way of a good doom and gloom post.

Correct, Miami. That's what I said. Then Saban came to BR to see another player, visited with Williams, Williams saw the NC, and he was persuaded to go to Tuscaloosa.

This guy worships the ground Saban walks on and has no trouble shitting on the team that he claims to support.

He's conveniently ignoring that Williams could not commit to LSU if he tried. He's also ignoring that Demarcus Walker's mom is the only reason Williams has a spot in Bama's class.
