Just saw. Let's get on him!
ETA: He also never redshirted so he has 3 to play 2

He would kill it in LSUs scheme

Heck no Buga! He is only a true Sophmore. Two more years. LSU needs to get him right away!!

is he even interested in LSU?

Sumlin wouldn't allow another SECW school taking Allen

Kinda wish he'd go to Florida lol

I just read an article where it says he can't transfer to any school in the SEC. So no interest is even available.

A&M not letting him transfer to any SEC school

Could he in theory transfer to a JUCO and then immediately transfer again to an SEC school?
Would that work? I've never heard of anyone doing it but once A&M signed his release they'd have no leverage over him, right?

The guy seems like a class act

You know your team is a dumpster fire when your starting QB says "frick this. I'm out."

I think he got screwed and he's tired of having to compete with a QB clearly less talented

Sumlin has now successfully chased off 2 starting QBs 2 years in a row.
So does Kylar Murray transfer when Hubenak takes over next year when he struggles?

Feel free to stone me if this isn't right but I'm under the impression there's an SEC rule preventing a player transferring to another SEC school? Or that they can but have to sit out a year? Anyone confirm that?

If an fbs player transfers they will always have to sit a year if the player transfers to another fbs school. Only way he can play right away is if he goes to a fcs school( or division 2+3). A&M can block him from going to schools of their choosing such as an sec team.

Most guys who want a shot to get back to the FBS for a year or two go the JUCO route rather than FCS. Allen would only have one year left if he did, but that would prevent A&M blocking him from going to another SEC school.
