Do we go after him? I beleive he is a Bama lean and is going to very difficult to get out of state.

Yes we go after him, but not that hard, we have quite a bit of LB talent this year in LA

Yes, send him a letter or make the usual initial contact, but unless he surprises everyone & shows interest, don't sweat it. The 2012 LA prep group is a rare one that actually includes several outstanding D1 linebacker recruits.

He'll end up at Alabama, but Auburn will be after him hard.

Are you sure? He recently said he would like a family environment. That is Auburns deal.

He's close with Reggie Ragland. They want to play at the same school. Ragland has been committed to Alabama for a while. Alabama loses 4-5 LBs off the 2011 team. Do the math. I expect him to end up at Alabama.

How much did Auburn offer him, that is the key to this recruitment.........

fwiw, AU's first commit for 2012 is from oxford and had a bama offer.

I've seen oxford play a few times over the last couple years and have never really been impressed, but alexander, elston, and flint are getting the hype, especially alexander.

Mike Flint is also from an Auburn family. He was always going to end up there.

correct.... Anniston/Oxford is definitely alabama territory, but it's hardly 'all tide'.

When the player is elite and Saban is at Bama... he's all tide... only real family stops the pipeline

dude... this is alabama... for 90% of the state your family is either Auburn or Alabama....

erique florence has no family ties to auburn.... neither does craig sanders

Florence's girlfriend was going Auburn (not that he was ever interested in Alabama). Craig Sanders' dad was a pretty big Auburn fan.
