The first thing I thought of with the 8.9 is he's just trying to throw everybody off Texas' scent.
I just don't understand why he wants to play in that horrible Big 12. Boring home games and horribly boring road trips. 1 big conference game a year in Dallas against OU and that's it.

Sure. He can major in a real field. You never know what injuries happen. 5 years to play four. One redshirt year or medical year.
