Great interview getting some opinions from the LSU commits regarding the LSU/Clemson game. Once thing that stuck out to me were the questions regarding Kendell Beckwith. Listen closely at the 2:17 mark where the reporter asked him, " did it kinda hit you hard that loss, like you were apart of the team?" Beckwith responded by saying, " nah, nah not really because im not actaully apart of the team YET."

Really hoping we can land this guy. If so, this could end up being one of the best defensive classes LSU has ever landed imo!

I think this was in another thread. He mentioned Bama too, so I am not calling it a lock yet.

Both sides saying Beckwith is all LSU, no worries there.

Now the question becomes does he play DE, MLB or OLB. He could honestly play any of the 3...we might need him most at MLB if he can excel there.

Great news as well - Of the 6 guys announcing at the UA game, Beckwith is the only one considering Alabama, and we know he's choosing LSU. Nice change from last year.

And we need plenty of depth on that side with the offensive offense we field. I can see defensive players beating down the door to come here, for the life of me, I don't see how anyone interested in the offensive side would want to sign with us.

At the end of the statement he said "...that's why I'm going with 'em (LSU)."

That is great!

It'd be great but I fully expect this kid to commit to Bama.

Based on what? Everyone is saying LSU, including the Bama side on this one. He is tight with our guys at the UA game.

This kid had indicated for months that he was very high on Bama. It's mostly just a gut feeling. I feel like when La kids go to Bama, they drag it out being afraid of dealing with the viscous outrage of the fans. Again, I have no sources or insight....just feel like if he was going to commit to LSU it wouldn't still be going on.

^^^ I think I agree with you. Collins knew for two years, but would've been harassed at school and everywhere he went if he had told anyone.

Nah, he's really close to his family, and they like Miles and Wilson..He's very attached to his horses(country boy). Doubt he leaves La.

That was long before LSU pushed hard for him and made him change his mind. He was a Bama lean early, then it moves to even, then LSU took a big lead. He's all LSU.

There's almost always been LA kids in the past every year to commit to us late. Doesnt mean they are all going elsewhere.

It would be a complete shock to everyone in the recruiting realm if he chose Bama on Friday. Especially on the Bama end considering all their mods are saying LSU and that Bama hasn't even tried much with him recently.

Couldn't agree anymore. Chicks come and go, but a good horse is hard to find.

Country black kids in Louisiana love horses. Come up around Stonewall and Mansfield. It's nuts.

Can horses replace socks as the new determing factor on which school a kid chooses?
