well if he want to go to Kansas then so be it. we have the top rated cb from texas checking on top rated cornerback from florida working on another one from texas. trust me if we win next yr then they will come. coach o has proved time and time again that he can take recruits that had no desire for lsu in the beginning watch him work and that boycott ish is just for publicity. two schools have already denounced the meeting. im sure more will come. like one person said hell if im in high school and I want to play for lsu no matter how much u keep coach o away im going to lsu.

Considering the lack of a competitive team, the recent loss loss record (really not enough wins to call it a win loss record), the lack of NFL players from Kansas in the past (the idea that you can get to the NFL from "any school" sounds great, it just hasn't happened much lately at Kansas), and the oddity of a bunch of Louisiana commits a year out jumping on-board on what appears to be on a whim, reality will sink in soon, commits will soon be pulled and tugged away to "more" awe inspiring football venues, and then tilt back and sanity shall be restored to the balance of the football recruiting universe...

It all looks good enough until the big boys start calling. They go to games at LSU or other SEC schools and then a KU game, and its over. No one gives a shite about a stadium upgrade if no one shows up to fill it.
Use Memphis as an example (since they beat you guys two years in a row and also have a superior football program). They had the best non P5 class in the FBS this year, but it took 3 years of winning and getting attention to get recruits 3 stars and above to stick on NSD. Guys flirted. Guys committed and then flipped to bigger programs. Now they are legitimately competing for 4 star players.
Still, it takes more time than a couple of 2 win seasons. It takes actually getting it done on the field. It takes getting fans to actually show up and buy in. Without that, you won't recruit well without straight out paying guys.
