I posted some on Joyner back when he got kicked off his hs team. I know the basketball coach at his school, and he knows the kid pretty well. That area of nc is very rural and very rough, and he has no one giving him direction. He says he is a good kid that has a chance of success if he can get out of there.

As far as why he was dismissed, all my posts before during that time got deleted, but I think I'm ok to say it wasn't because of drugs or behavior issues at school.

I read that he checked in at 200 lbs at the UA practice. Not the type of LBers we go after anymore really...

My understanding is that fsu is in lead, but the coaches aren't close to him anymore for obvious reasons. I agree he is small, but he has world class athletic ability. He is a take imo if he wants to come here. We need linebackers.

He liked lsu before he left his team, but apparently fsu is the only team that "stayed by his side" during that time.

Far from small. Geez, the more people post on this guy the more obvious it is they don't know squat lol

Small is relative. He was always considered a smaller quicker style of linebacker. But if his weigh in is correct, that ain't small, and is good news for his school of choice.

He measured 6'4 223. He said he plans to play in the 245 to 250 range

Edit: I didn't notice that there was a thread on this with the interview posted.

So does that mean he was going to pick LSU before Steele left?

It might be because they are only taking 5 people to air on tv and its the ones who requested a while back. That's why divinity and Allen aren't announcing.

Hmmmmmm.....let's see, what would determine who those 5 will be? A hunch that some may be leaning towards Alabama? Just a thought.

Actually none of them are likely to commit there
