17-0
I had an invite on the field and this is a few notes from the game.

Katy Taylor got up 14-0 in the first quarter. First possession for Lee went 3 and out. The second, a fumble. Up by 14 Katy didn't do anything to give the game away. I talked with the DC after the game and he said, "We really didn't blitz as much, as the game went on." With 2:56 left in the game Katy added a field goal. At the 2:36 mark Chris Taylor got an Int. to ice the win.
Players in the game:
Lee:
DB Thomas Bates a verbal to UH
The front three on the DL:
Zach Zellers kind of leads that group.

Some might remember a few QB's from Baytown Lee.
Clint Stoner(Played at Ark), Drew Tate (Beat LSU in the bowl game with a last second TD pass), Drews Step-Dad is the Head Coach at Lee. Also a kid LSU recruited a number of years back named Jermaine Alfred, he ended up at Baylor and is now the QB coach at Lee.

Now on to Katy Taylor:
Three of the Coaches for the Mustangs came over from SMU. The HC, OC and DC.
A couple of the DB's are getting looks at from a few colleges.
This team has some youth, the TE Trent Guiberteau is a Jr., also a DE Agostino, both of these two are in the 6'2"-6'3" range.
By the end of the night, Lee was tired of seeing the RB Sartory coming through the line. At times he was dragging three people with him before going down.

Tonight its Cy-Ridge at the Berry Center. Will have a report on Shep. This will be my second time to see him this year.

That string of QBs there was dowright sick, Stoerner, then Roberson, then Tate. My high school played them when they had Roberson and Tate. Needless to say, it wasn't pretty.

They've fallen a little in the QB area, the rest of the team has some D-1 players.

I almost forgot another good one they had...Brian Johnson, starting QB from Utah. Also a Baytown Lee alum. They've put out some talent at the position.
