Before you get a bunch of ridiculous answers...Short answer is no. Per everyone on here consensus is we are not in contact with him anymore.

This. Already got Alexander, will take Kenny Young and try for Clifton Garrett or Petera Wilson. The coaches saw or found out something about Daub and stopped contacting him

Interesting. Usually there's at least some speculation. A Handler? Grades? Arrests? Character Issues? Drugs? Something. Hell, we stay on good players sometimes when they have these issues. Wonder what it could be.

Its a legitimate question though. He was one of our first commitments. If I didnt follow recruiting I would have to suspect we still had some shot at him.
But as others have said, something happened and the staff is not in contact at the moment. I would say chances he winds up at LSU are pretty small, less than 5%

No one knows what happen so it may be a mistake to assume it's on Daub. Perhaps someone at LSU made a mistake with inappropriate contact and had to back off to avoid a major violation.
I seem to recall something like that happen years ago with a player in Louisiana that ended up at Tennessee because we had to stop recruiting him. Maybe Wade?

No, I said I don't know what happen and neither does anyone else. I just said it's a mistake to assume it's on Daub. LSU has screwed up in the past and is not immune from doing it again.
