My son goes to LCA and we went to game. Thomas is a monster. Was not impressed with Davis. He didn’t play most of the game so I guess he was nicked. LCA has some talent to look at. LCA junior running back Logan Gabriel is very good. Also, freshman DT Fitzgerald West will be a top recruit in a couple years. He beat Thomas a few times

So you weren’t impressed with him but he didn’t play most of the game? Hmmm

You should watch more of Davis then basing your judgement of one game is ridiculous

Davis hardly played and injured. Very good player and obviously cannot be judged injured.

I'd qualify that a bit. I did think he was was very good when he played, just not quite what I expected from the hype. That's part of the issue with hype. He was really good.

Thomas was all he was cracked up to. Someone told me he was kind of a dirty player, I didn't see that at all.

The Lab player that caught my eye was a junior name Thornton (I think). He was a really smooth runner and looked to be explosively fast.

Logan is kind of flying under the radar, I think. Though I'm sure some folks may take notice after this game.

My daughter is a senior at LCA and my son graduated from there. He was on the football team, though he rarely saw the field. We'll be at the Dome barring any conflicts.

LCA has 19 players that are ineligible due to transfer after 9th grade yr. C'mon LHSAA...thats a bit suspicious, no?

Where does one find this info? Link? I'm not saying you are incorrect, I have no idea, I'm just asking.

And I guess those are not players currently playing, since they are ineligible?

Go to a game and count them. Wear jersey and long pants.

The advocate said he had 21 carries (for 61 yards). He got a shite ton of carries for someone who barely played. If you can't break 3 ypc against a high school 1a team, the sec might not be for you.

I like this. Son rarely saw the field, but I assure you, he WAS a good teammate and learned a lot. Kudos for not being an a-hole parent.

What he does to other kids makes him seem "dirty & mean"

Based on who it came from, it's possible he extrapolated a single incident into what someone is all about. Anyone can get frustrated in a game with a district opponent and lose their cool for one play. I'm not saying that even happened, just the guy I got it from is usually not prone to hyperbole. But his is connected with a team in the same district as Lab.
