Wondering why he gets no love here. Are we not excited about him? I honestly don't remember much conversation about him on here. Listed at 6'5 255. 3-4 end if I had to guess.

He's great but posters like talking about 4/5 star recruits.

He's gonna be a solid player.

He has the potential to be damn good. Raw as far as experience and technique for sure. But that frame and athleticism is off the charts.

If he puts in the work in the weight room and takes instruction, and the coaches (Jenkins and CEO mainly) put in the work to develop him, we may be calling him "premiere" in a 2 years.

If he had more time playing football he would have likely been a high 4 star.

he's certainly an under the radar type recruit. I don't think Dave Aranda gets swept up in that high school hype and do not think it will influence him at all. Pete Jenkins doesn't either. if Thomas works hard and keeps his nose clean his ability will be apparent and his ceiling will be as high as that ability will take him. I like nothing better than to see this kind of guy break through and be successful. like Duke Riley.

Guys that are already enrolled aren't gonna get hyped close to NSD when we're all watching uncommitted guys.

He is from Spanish Fort, AL. He reminds me of Lewis Neal. A three star guy who played sparingly in his first two seasons but turned into a solid starter his junior and senior years. Some good potential that could be developed.

Guys like this are important for any program. When you are recruiting high 4 and 5 star guys, there will always be transfers, busts, guys who leave early, and injuries. You need guys who will stay and develop and provide that depth that you have to have in the front 7. And you never know. Sometimes a guy like this blows up and becomes a star.

Situational 3-4 end maybe. More apt to be a 1st, 2nd down WOLB. Looks like the staff is very clearly deviating from the Chavis philosophies of yesteryear with speed guys at DE, and putting two massive bodies at LE and RE and a mountain at NT.

The taller, leaner guys look to see time at the outside edge. That's the trend I see happening anyway. If Thomas puts on 30# of muscle/mass, I could probably see him at WDE situationally.

Reminds me a whole lot of Bennie Logan actually, very underrated but will be solid. Hope we still land the DT from Alabama also, he's another one we spotted early that's underrated but solid. Let's get eim! HTT

Sadly this is mostly true. However there was within the past couple weeks a thread referring to him as the most underrated player. I agreed but since think it to now be Racey only because he's damn near NFL ready. Can't believe those 2 schools let Thomas get out of Alabama.

I watched his film a couple months ago and the kid was a monster. Quick off the snap and unblockable.

I concluded that the competition level had to subpar because his dominance did not translate to a 3 star play. True strong side DE

Gonna be a stud and half the LSU fan base will say. Where did this kid come from!

Can't teach twitch (or instincts).

With his athleicsm and speed, add some good footwork and very good handwork and it makes up for at least 10 lbs.
