From what I have heard and read, his offer has nothing to do with Lodge. He came in and worked out for Cam and was extended an offer. He is a take, regardless of Lodge. Having Lodge would be "icing on the cake".

Have heard the same. He came in to work, looked the part, and was offered. I personally don't think we were offering a qb in this class but liked him enough to offer. More of a project, and not the kind of talent to scare 2016 guys.

I still think the dude is better than his rating.

This is a head scratcher for me. Project at best not impressed with his skills at all.Franks and Patterson much more upside. It's as if the staff feels it must sign at least one.

I know you're entitled to your opinion. No offense bro, but I trust Cam and Les with evaluating talent more than I trust you.

Offers are a good indication on the caliber of player for the most part. If he ends up being a 4-5 year player in our system then I say go for it. We must have guys like that now the way early attrition kills us. You could get another 5 star QB this year but do you think he's going to stay when he has to sit behind Harris?

All of those schools probably have better QBs than we do right now. Problem?

The QB recruiting at LSU leaves alot to be desired.

Clearly, because it's not like we took a top 75 player at the position last. And of course we don't have perhaps the best dual threat QB in the country committed for next year's class with a great shot at No.2 pro style QB either. Obviously we can't recruit QB's.

Jr season stats... 60%+ completion percentage, 2400 yds, and 29 TDs. TD every 9 attempts. Had 10 INTs. Have not seen his senior stats so far but heard he is doing very well.

He is listed as a Pro-Style QB. This is a hedge on the problems we have had trying to train Dual Threats to pocket pass...

Jennings with a top QB coming out of High School.

If I recall he was an Elite 11 QB. But Ill leave it to the recruiting Gurus to affirm that.
