...as a safety.

This dude is mean

Where do you guys think he'll end up playing. He seems like a natural for defense, but I've heard he could be a WR.

Thoughts?

Probably WR because of his height.

Yeah...dude hits like he's angry though.

Hmmm....

Maybe this is the solution to the Jarrett Lee pick-6 connumdrum? Put him at WR and have him flatten the intercepting player

I really like the idea of him as a DB, but logic tells me WR.

He is CJ's replacement at safety, if he can qualify.

I keep coming back to the same (albeit unorthodox) idea of having him as a CB. He's played it in high school, he can run well enough (I would guess 4.55), and in Chavis' system big physical corners are the norm. He seems to have good hips and good ball skills, but the depth chart is filling up at WR with not a lot of real depth at corner... especially if you consider that there's a real possibility of Peterson being gone after his junior year.

ETA: It's not like tall guys can't play corner, and with wide receivers getting bigger and bigger in the SEC (for instance Jones, Green, and Randle in recent years), you can't keep throwing 5'9" corners at these guys and expect them to compete.

Well I don't know, considering he said "if he qualifies" and all.

some what.

He knows what he has to get done and I think he's willing and able to get it done.

I think Eric Reid will replace Jones at FS and Tharold Simon will replace Loston at SS, Ronnie Vinson at CB.
