Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall anyone saying that all our 3 stars will get bumped to 4 stars.
I assume that at least 5 will get a bump. Maybe even more than that.

I think we'll get a lot of bumps, but I'd be surprised if we had 5 or less 3 stars on signing day. We had a damn good class last year & we had eight 3 stars(with only 22 commits)...according to 247's composite rankings.
Bama had the #1 class, & they had six 3 stars.

8 of the 13 have already been bumped to 4 stars in the ESPN 300. These same 8 will all be bumped per Dixon on 247.
Since 2014 LSU has signed at least 8, yes 8, 3 Stars in every single class. 2016 had 1 2 star, 2015 had 2 2 Stars. I don't remember all the outrage back then????
I promise you LSU will end the cycle with less than our previous 4 year average, which would be 8. And I'll stand by the 5 number I stated above.
ETA. 9 3 stars in 2013.......8 3stars and 2 2stars in 2012. But we'll just stick with 8 as the average

Sure why not. The point is that since 2012 LSU has signed anywhere from 8-10 3stars or lower. This year won't be any different, and I'd think it'll actually be below 8, which seemed to be Miles average. Still can't figure out all the BS being spouted on here and the rant about this class? Take your time, go look at the rankings and factor in the offers to this point.

Klavon Chassion was a ZERO STAR when Orgeron offered him........Finished as a 5star. I'll trust that type of evaluation over the services

This whole recruiting board could be boiled down to 2 things...finding a QB and getting better in the trenches.

^^^ THIS... I trust Coach O when it comes to recruiting over any recruiting service. Dude has been evaluating talent since before some of these "recruiting experts" were born. I'm not worried about the level of talent he's going to bring in to LSU. We will be fine regardless of the total # of 3 stars that are left coming signing day.

O needs to win and win early. Following Miles who won championships and was widely loved is not easy. Ppl already calling Lsu on the decline without O even coaching his first game as Perm HC. I have faith he can get it done. But if Lsu struggles early the national media will pounce.

The concern I have is not how many three stars we have but how many top committed recruits we have at the moment. I know we are in the running for a few 5 stars but we also know how a lot of those pan out as well. Last year our average was at 91.4, this year is 88.4 (only 2 recruits in the top 200). Still a long year to go, I'm sure O and co will finish the class off strong
