Bennett was just the #1 pick in the NBA draft and averaged 16/8 in college. Size? Check. Athleticism? Check. Good numbers, but not something you'd expect a #1 overall pick to have.

Nerlens Noel had a miserable offensive game in college and was the #6 pick in the same draft. Size? Check. Athleticism? Definite check.

This was in an absolutely shitty draft, which 2014 won't be

You're correct but it still shows what NBA scouts really look at. Martin fits the bill to go very high in the draft, and very quickly. A 6'9, 240 pound ATHLETIC Small forward?

We'll have to see. I think Martin stays a year until he really explodes. Martin still has only been playing organized basketball for 3 years.

At minimum he'd be behind Wiggins and Parker just at the SF. Just look at the mocks, there are several guys with his size and athleticism who are listed and who are probably more skilled than him at this point in their development. Look, I'd love for the guy to play like a lottery pick this year. However, to pencil him in as a one and done lock is very premature IMO.

Martin is a 2 year player IMO

I think Mickey has a chance to be a 2 year guy too

This draft is too loaded though for them to come out this year. However if JOB averages something like 22 and 10 this year on a good team he could get drafted as a rebound machine that can score

Josh is Good!!!

Is this the same Josh Gray from wash marion? If so he is good. Staves is good too. Mark Vital is only a sophomore at washington marion and he signed with Baylor already.

Been knowing him since flag football at 6 it's been awhile since I talked to him but I went to high school with him.
no offense and I'm not trying to say you're wrong about him seeing as I don't know him personally, but how do you know that he's humbled and would love to come home to LSU if you haven't spoken to him in awhile? Family members maybe?

I'd go to bet a lot of money he hasn't signed anywhere as a sophomore.

Well I am a family member who keeps in touch with him. He is very much matured over the year and his focused on his goals. Degree first and nba second. When I talk to him first this I ask about is grades. He is a very smart young man. When he asked to be released from MSU after Rick left they would not let him come to an sec school even though some lsu basketball alum tried to say lsu could work around it. Where ever he goes it has to be in a starting role. I also text him this link last night.

Starting...
Robinson
Mickey
Martin
Gray
Hickey

Off the bench...
Odo/Malone
Epps
Hammink
Morgan/Hornsby
Quarterman/Patterson

FAP

But I still think we dont see Martin back. Bridgewater I left off because I just dont know what's going on there. How does he not know if he's eligible yet?

Gray is legit and he would play immediately. Also, wasn't CJJ supposed to be at his game referred to in the OP?
