First of all, welcome to Tiger nation Joseph Stone. Smart young man to see what’s happening at LSU will benefit you by being a part of it.
Now to respond to “richbad”. I can promise you that he will absolutely stick with his commitment. See how they works? There have been countless early commits who have stuck.
I’d venture to say that the very early commits stick more often because they are generally made by a kid who knows exactly where he wants to go and has known for a while prior to ever being offered. They often shut down recruiting for different reasons so they aren’t recruited near as hard by others.
It’s only when circumstances change that they go back on their commitment, which is reasonable and understandable. No matter the outcome of this early commit, what it does in fact do is creates momentum for the class and generates a buzz around the program that has positive momentum in recruiting. So to be excited about his commitment is warranted, no matter the future outcome. It helps LSU regardless and for that reason, most people who are actually fans of LSU would be excited, unless you’re just simply miserable and dull. With that, I digress.

Huge pick up, this kid is extremely athletic and should be able to play several positions and he should get to pick what he prefers. Brian Kelly and Co are doing major work.
How many kids is this from that area? Is there a reason LSU is so popular in that area? Anyone have any insight?

Joseph Stone 5’10” 180 Soph out of the Atlanta suburb of Logansville. On first hudl burn, Stone takes the majority of his snaps from shotgun as a QB as a sophomore, and I am immediately taken back to 2009. This is Russell Shepard re-incarnated.
Accelerates to top speed in the blink of an eye. Absolute terror as an open field runner. Stone’s feet are anything but that; off the charts ankle & hip flexibility allows him to move in ways that his opponents cannot.
From here I cross referenced some tape on Twitter to see how he looks at WR on 7 v 7. Is a natural hand catcher. Works deep & routinely gets behind defenses. But really gashes defenders underneath in the open field. My mouth spills out as I’m watching; this is jojo Earle
Stone looks superiorly comfortable behind C with the ball in his hands attacking the LOS. i couid see him as a RB in the Theo riddick/CJ procise/Kyren Williams mold that Kelly has implemented routinely in the last decade.
However. I think he is a WR all the way. It would be a travesty to put this kid on defense. Next July I think we will be talking about the best player in GA for the 2024 class. - Lester

Can you see this cat lined up in the slot and taking a slant route to the house while breaking the S ankles?

Absolutely. Could even grow an inch or 2??
And is an absolute pro in interviews. Kid is all about business

Excellent pick up. Dude is electric with the ball in his hands.
