It appears that our own Brandon Harris is the key for current Texas recruiting success in Louisiana. Texas currently has 3 Louisiana commits. I know Arch was never coming to LSU. The Mannings hate LSU due to Archie passing on LSU hate in Manning genes.

And for context purposes it's kind of unsurprising that Derek Williams is currently committed to Texas because it's my understanding that Derek has built a good relationship with Terry Joseph long before the CBK staff was able to make inroads with Derek.

The third current Louisiana recruit for Texas is TE three star Will Randle. I don't believe LSU was ever recruiting Randle. I'm probably wrong but the Texas offer for Randle looks like a package deal to sure up Arch.

The overarching point is Texas is making recruiting inroads into Louisiana and the guy doing work for Texas appears to be Brandon Harris.

Now Jordy is reporting Brandon Harris is going in hard after Zalance Heard. IMO this should be LSU's number one offensive line target. Apparently it's going to be a battle with Texas for Heard's commitment. Hopefully LSU wins out.

If he’s an inaccurate with recruiting as he was throwing a a football, we should be fine with Heard.

If he goes to texas, it’s not because an off field coach out recruited a SEC staff

Well we basically have 3 o line coaches here and it's Kelly's specialty. On top of that he would have the opportunity to start much quicker here than there. I'm not too worried about it. Jordy has been crying that the sky is falling for lsu recruiting this whole time. This is just his latest shtick I'm sure..."ahhhh the former lsu guy at texas is stealing all our players!!"

Brandon Harris is such a fricking pussy.

That kid talks so much shite about LSU after being benched for Danny Etling.

He knows he’s not wanted in any capacity at LSU so he spends half his time trying to convince Louisiana kids they shouldn’t go to LSU.

frick him.

Breaking news: Assistant football coaches with ties to state are pushing for a borderline 5 star offensive tackle...shocking Jordy

I’m just a guy on the internet, but I was impressed by Randle when I saw him play. I’m sure being Arch’s friend didn’t hurt, but he seemed worthy of an offer on his own merits

Let's be real for a moment....
LSU aka LES MILES was a QB KILLER, i still don't understand how he'd recruit Wide Receivers so successfully

Brandon was a VERY TALENTED QB, he should've gone elseware to develop

I don't hear anyone slamming other former tigers aka DUNBAR whom has pulled A LOT MORE RECRUITS FOR NICK!!!

Lolll if you had any clue how Brandon Harris talks about LSU.

He’ll never be a position coach. All he’s good for is talking shite and trying to convince Louisiana teens they shouldn’t go to LSU because he was fricking terrible at LSU.

frick Brandon Harris.

Karl Dunbar is a life long coach that has been all over the map, including LSU. He’s doing his job and never disparaged LSU.

Brandon Harris was a shite player and a crybaby. Of course he was hampered by Les, every offensive player was. But Harris sucked arse too.

Wow. I strategically forgot about Brandon Harris. Sad to hear at this age he isn’t mature enough to accept that he wasn’t a good QB.

Hopefully Heard is smart enough to see through someone’s sour grapes BS. Geaux Tigers forget the rest.

It was a lesson that Saban instilled in Sark. Make in-roads into LA. You could tell he was going to take that seriously as he built his staff last year. Kelly should have considered hiring Harris, as he is the ring leader & has been considered a bright up
& comer.

Gary Patterson has long recruited the state well for TCU, too.

I remember when his high-school coach said he wouldn't let any more of his players go to LSU.

What does an assistant QB coach do? Snap the ball to QBs in practice?

There was a reason he stayed in Austin as Texas’s Director of Talking shite to Teenagers

If you truly think Brandon Harris would be given a position coach title in the NFL, I don’t know what to tell you.
