Why haven't we offered this guy he wants in on this class. His recruitment has been silent for some time now. I understand we want Buggs badly. Is Anderson not good enough?

No the kid always spoke about LSU as his dream school. IMO he's just as good as Buggs. I know he's behind Buggs in terms of the big board but it's seems to me Buggs is headed to AU.

We've got too many big time targets out there to offer him, bluntly put. Buggs will be in the bag shortly most likely and we just have some big time guys left we dont want to scare off taking 2 JUCO DL.

If he was better than Buggs he would have an offer now. Buggs is committing here at the end of the month

He's JUCO. If you have just as talented kids that are in HS to recruit, JUCOs are not as valuable because they don't have as much eligibility.

LSU typically only takes JUCOs if they have an immediate need. It sucks because he is a great player.

So who's on tap for DE? Honestly because i don't know, and we need even another since for some reason Roddy has been moved to TE.

We need guys that can play immediately. Next year we'll have Herron who is a DT and a senior, but ability to play DE. Logan is (RSFR), and Clark will be a senior but is listed at only 253 now. Washington is 20lbs lighter than Roddy so is he really a go as well?

Seems like we need all the DEs we can get, but yeah I would like high school guys to build depth. Buggs would be the one immediate starter at JUCO.

If we land Marvin Wilson, buggs, Mathis and Thomas we for sure won't need anderson.

So if wilson, buggs,Mathis, thomas and moffit and the de we just got from alabama are all projected De's, are we only taken shevin at defensive tackle?

Gilmore, Herron - 4th year juniors, could leave as well.

Coach O said Herron might start this year. If that happens, him leaving early is possible

Look, as great as LSU's D usually is and will be this year, you don't start for 1 year with the talent surrounding you and go to the draft! And I don't think he'll start anyway...but I do like the guy!

If he has a good year, Herron could certainly leave whether he is a starter or in the rotation. 4th year junior

Anthony Johnson started for 3 years and didn't get drafted, what in the world would lead someone to believe Frank Herron "being in the rotation" could get him drafted?!?!
