For what it's worth regarding Hawkins, Mike D talked about him early in the season at a school function. Mike says the family is struggling so hard financially, if there's even a chance he could make an nfl roster, he's gone.

You gotta do what you gotta do. Too bad this might effect his career longterm

Spelling mistakes aside, that's not a bad thing. NFL gets far more time to practice and prepare with generally better coaching. If he can make a roster, it won't hurt his career at all.

So you would rather not sign all of those players? You are not an LSU fan so what are you doing on this board?

Maybe OT, but I don't think we are thin at DT.

Valentine
Herron (even though I think he should move to DE)
Gilmore
Bain
LaCouture
Godchaux
LMFAO
Thomas

Then we are looking to nab 3 in 2016. I think we are fine at DT, I'd rather have some OT prospects even if we can land Sweet.

people say that,, but there is a difference between struggling a bit your rookie season as a 2 rounder and struggling your rookie season a a 7th rounder or underrated free agent.

You get way more chances to succeed if you are a higher pick the team invested in.

Derek Dillon is probably gonna take one of the 10 spots left. If we don't get Tyron, I hope he goes to Lubbuck!!
