Listened to the game on the radio and supposedly made an incredible TD run after reversing field on a zone read about 35 yards out. Also made a few other nice runs from qb position as his 3A team beat 5A ponchatoula 25-7

Yeah with Amite not being Amite since Coach Currier left I suspect to see a huge drop off son especially since a lot of my people say there kids are now going to Loranger...

Yes they did. Why would a kid prefer to leave Amite to go to Loranger to play football? That's like leaving LSU to go to Tulane

Not playing I just hear that the school is more gangsta I guess is the right word now and the parents don't want there kids to go there...and yes they did go to the dome but that was strictly on talent...coaching is horrible which is why I can't wait to graduate and bring Amite back...

The schools in that parish are all getting like that because they have the worst school board in the state. There was a time in the mid to late 90's when Kentwood, Amite, Independence, and Hammond were all making deep runs in the playoffs every year and had some great coaches. Kind of like the river parish schools have been lately
