DE Jones, Womack, Carpenter, Swinson, Cobbins,and CJ Jackson.
Reilford and Shand can play some edge also.

Still over the 85 and the staff is actively recruiting at least 1 more d tackle. Going to be several more tough conversations in the next couple days.

Yeah. I expecting some to hit portal after Spring game just because we over and need 1 or 2 DTS. I have a few players in mind, I was not expecting him to be one of them.

Probably for the best. I’m sure he was behind at least Swinson Womack. I think Reliford would end up passing him as well.

In the portal era, recruiting from far away is more of a gamble. Minnesota player that bolts when times are hard.

Works both ways when guys are ready to come back home (Aaron Anderson, Zavion Thomas, etc)

I kinda expected this a couple days ago. He's getting passed up. Heard he's been running 3rd string. He can go back to Minnesota and make a huge impact. Hell, might go to Colorado.

He could just be home sick. There used to be a saying, if you come to LSU, or any powerhouse, you may not play until your junior year. I remember Debo Jones being a non factor waiting for his turn then boom! We'll be fine at DE.

On the depth side, LSU brought in several edge defenders including Breaux (who is physically ready), and CJ Jackson, so we are not bad off there.
