Probably gets TOPS and maybe some type of financial aid. Could earn a scholarship within a couple years.

Wow really? I heard that he committed but didn't realize it was as a preferred walkon. That's fantastic and he will get an attrition scholly next year. Dude is very good.

So he is going to go to LSU and pay his way over going to USM for free? That would be pretty awesome.

We are getting two great preferred walk ons from baton rouge this year. Both could really make contributions, even as soon as year one in some capacity

Interested to see Javahn's role especially if we switch to a 34 with the new DC hire. He could get a little PT in that new scheme. Not to mention hopefully contributing on special teams

Jake Gonsoulin hopefully has a positive impact on our kicking game for years to come as well

I thought someone confirmed he had an actual scholarship offer. REgardless, he's a good one.

He makes good grades. Will likely have TOPS. Plus walkons included on meal plans now, I think.

You never know with walk ons until they enroll
He could end up signing with someone late in the process

Doubt he does. He had a full ride to USM, nothing to sneeze at. They've been down for a while, but USM has great tradition.
