If lsu would offer he would commit on the spot no doubt, dude is a huge tiger fan. I think lsu is worried about his size tho.

He's a play maker and a really good tackler. Would have to play linebacker at the next level.

I think he's a baller and I hope he's a part of this class.

I will say this though, southern labs coach should be roasted. I know a kid really we'll on their team who is a major d1 prospect that got injured in the jamboree and the coaches kind of downplayed it and didn't care and want him to play.

I hate seeing coaches hurt kids to get a w.

I think he may be a better fit for a 3-4 scheme, especially after hearing he really bulked up in the offseason. He really knows how to use leverage and he showed good quickness in the Core6 highlight I watched.

Don't know about attitude or behavior issues but he can definitely play football.

Whatever happened with him and Catholic? They would be ridiculous if they had him right now.

Have you seen the schedule Southern Lab played ? St Charles Catholic, Uhigh, Plaq, Patterson, Dville, he has been tearing it up against those teams, so I think its safe to throw the whole 1A thing out the window. And as far as attitude goes everyone I talk to at LAB said guy has been a model citizen since and a leader since he got to SULAB maybe the change of scenery was good, some kids just don't respond well to the Catholic High way!! with the lack of linebacker interest we have now I think a offer will come

Hard working kid. Versatile, quick feet, but raw as an outside line backer due to playing Defensive end for 2 years at Catholic High

It was said he did the same thing when he played 5A even though it looks as if they have played only one 1A team so far

Got kicked off of Catholic's football team due to attitude. Playing DE in high school has zero bearing on ability to get recruited for LB by D1 schools. He's been to all of the camps. Schools know what he has and where he'll project. Javahn is an outstanding player, but not SEC material. He has an offer from USM, which is a solid offer. He should take it.

Just from that highlight alone. I don't think he's good enough to play in the SEC. His good plays are the product of his teammates playing very disciplined and him being where he's supposed to be. He plays with a high motor, but he doesn't follow through with his tackles like you want a linebacker to do at the high school level. He makes tackles, but it's because he's stronger and faster than the other kids. That won't be the case. He has a good inside swim move and a quick first step. He needs to work on his tackling technique and bring his hips through the ball carrier. Is he a good football player? Yes I would love to have him on my Varsity team. Would I want him on scholarship at LSU? No. But anyone can improve and if the coaches like him they're the professionals not me.

I was told personally by a coach that it was for missing a mandatory team meeting

that just sounds personal I'm sure a school in the sec can use his 3* talent

anyone who knows anything about the situation knows that he had an attitude problem. Missing meeting may have been straw breaking the proverbial camel's back, but Javahn had attitude problems.

Proof will be if he gets an offer. He's undersized and lacks the speed in my opinion, but I have nothing against him personally and wish him nothing but success. No doubting that he has talent and plays hard.
