Their final seven:

LSU, Miami, Tulane, Creighton, UMass, Oklahoma, and USC.
How important is it to keep the fence up around the state? Are taking both prospects better than going after higher ranked OOS prospects? I think they can both develop into very good players.

Jarreau is the No. 11 shooting guard in the country and the No. 2 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2016, according to ESPN.

Gresham is rated the No. 24 overall power forward for the class of 2016 and the No. 4 overall player from the state of Louisiana.

I think they are tight with jevonte smart (top 10 player in the country '18) so that's pretty big. A lot of these guys play together in the summer so they have good friendships/chemistry already. We have some studs coming up if they can stay in La for highschool LINK LINK LINK starting a fence will be huge

I think basketball recruiting in Louisiana gets overshadowed by football but we've had some incredible talent come through Louisiana. The fence has to go up.

Man, I really want these guys in P&G. I think Jarreau can play SG. He and Gresham, to go along with Sims and Mays, and maybe one other big, would make for a solid class.

That final 7 list looks pretty favorable for the home team. I'm guessing Oklahoma is prob our biggest threat?

I wonder how many we're taking this year with '17 being so strong

I don't know if the "fence up" analogy works as much for basketball. These kids play so much AAU ball with other players and travel for camps now. If a kid from Monroe plays on an AAU team from Jackson or Dallas, he probably knows more kids that will go to other schools and isn't as concerned about staying in state. Just my thoughts.

I'd still love to see them playing for the Tigers thought. CJJ is doing work on the recruiting trail and building the program. Good to see for us long time basketball fans.
