What does you being white have to do with anything? Half the whites in this country hate their own kind, anyway...no surprise.

You saying Godcahux should be offended that we offered an out of state kid that plays a completely different position?
No, I'm saying that Godchaux should be offended that Miles is giving out scholarships to family friends kids while he's dominating at camps and busting his arse. By all accounts Davon absolutely DOMINATED in Houston. If going all out and winning at camps isn't an issue then why does Cameron Sims not have an offer? Miles gets paid a ridiculous amount, he should treat offers as business decisions not personal favors. I'm not saying that Davon will be offended or that he won't end up with us. But if that were me I would take that as a HUGE slap in the face, I would seriously start looking elsewhere.

Also please try and say that Jared Wangler looks like a better prospect than Davon or Cameron.

He hasn't taken a lesser prospect's commitment at DT...that's the bottom line. Wangler very likely won't end up in the class, of course.

Godchaux has work to do academically...if he takes care of it, he'll be at LSU...that's it.

Then let him do his fricking job. I sweae our fans are a bunch of turds.

One thing Miles has done that cant be questioned Is recruit well. But i forgot, every top player us jyst lined up outside the football offuces begging for a scholly.

There are quite a few instate guys we thought would pull the trigger as soon as we offered. But that hasnt happened has it.

Tigah32,

Based on your logic, Godchaux is already pissed beyond belief because we not only offered, but actually ACCEPTED a commitment from Clapp, Voorhies, Alexander, Hardeman, and Upchurch (all of whom are rated below Godchaux). Plus, I don't think any one of them DOMINATED in Houston.

So, what does one more offer matter???

Calm down. Also learn how to spell, you make us all look dumb as a unit. Also Miles is not God. The point is that the kid (by all accounts) is all LSU, but instead we offered a shitty safety from Michigan over a stud DT/DE from Louisiana. At some point in time these kids will get agitated and look else where.

You're being about as smart as that whore in your pic right now.

Wangler can't commit to LSU, and Godchaux also has a conditional offer. Wangler very likely won't be able to ever commit to LSU, and Godchaux is a Tiger the moment he passes his classes.

Calm down.

Clapp is an OG from Louisiana and a 4* prospect. He fits a major need and shows excellent run blocking skills.

Voorhies is a 4* athlete from Mississippi that can play wide out or safety. (Also he's rated higher than Godchaux by most recruiting services) Safety is a need this year.

Hardeman is a corner from Texas that did great at camps and showed promise at the nickle position, another need.

Donnie Alexander played on a dominate defense has the ideal size for Cheifs D and has a ton of speed. Adding a young OLB never hurts. Also from Louisiana.

Upchurch is a bit of a wildcard but a 6'1" 220 he shows the ability to snatch the ball out of the air. We need wide outs, I know we're suppose to have a few in '14 but we can't bank on getting commitments from Speedy, Malachi, Trey and D'haquille. Fits a need and is a good safety net.

Jared Wangler is a 6'2" 215 OLB/S. With Clifton saying we lead, Young still on the board and Alexander all ready committed we're good at LB. S is locked down with Voorhies and Paris. Not to mention the fact that Peppers, Brown and Jackson are still on the board. I know Brown and Jackson are pure CB's but if they all commit one will play safety. You don't bench that kind of talent.

My point is that Louisiana is loaded with talent and many out of state recruits are realistic targets. Our offers are extremely important this year and IMO Wangler hasn't earned one.

But let the Miles suck fest continue. I think he's an excellent recruiter and a great talent evaluator but he's too damn nice sometimes. I would hate if he's letting a personal relationship interfere with his job.

Saban's building a fricking dynasty and Miles is offering his buddies sons scholarships.

So Wangler receives an offer but he can't commit?

I don't know if you know something I don't but I'm just an LSU student so I can't afford the pay sites insider info. I have this info:

Godchaux is being recruited but hasn't received an offer.

Wangler is the son of one of Mile's old teammates and received an offer.

If I'm wrong I'll say I'm sorry for even stirring shite up.

He doesn't have a committable offer...what part of that is so confusing to you? It's just a PR move...he won't be in the class unless we miss on a bunch of prospects...which we won't.

Kill yourself...without a rematch, Miles is building the dynasty (while being a nicer guy).

Yes...there are many of these out there, from all schools, to all sorts of different prospects in more sports than just football. It's common, so to speak.

He's a take 100%...they know him well, he knows us well...he's camped and showed out, and his film is excellent...they're not going to offer a recruit like him, whom they already know personally, a noncommittable offer, and they can't offer him while his grades are in question. What part of this do you not understand, bud?

Yeah I was in the dome. The better team won that day. I love LSU more than anyone but we were outplayed and out coached in the biggest game of the year. We knew, they knew and the world new what was at stake. The fact that Lee never even saw the field was a joke.

Maybe YOU need to calm down and learn how to spell.

I don't think it an uncommon practice for coaches at big programs to make uncommittable offers to friends of the family. By doing so he helps the kid's visibility, maybe helping him to get an offer from a big program that is on the fence. The only drawback to this practice is that it upsets a few rantards.

Miles is not a perfect coach, but he has earned his reputation as a great recruiter and a pretty good guy.

That I didn't know. I sincerely apologize.

I guess I just don't see how UF, Florida state, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M and Vandy have all offered if grades are an issue. I don't know man, I guess I just don't know enough the process and shouldn't comment about something that I'm not sure about.

Thanks the for the insight. And again, sorry for the shite stirring.

It's fine, dude...

...and those other big time schools have offered because they're out of state and don't have to worry about burning bridges at his HS. If he doesn't qualify academically, he won't be able to attend any of those either.

He'll be at LSU...mark my words. He's going to be very good and a great leader, too, IMO.
