A lot of information here, and not to be a negatiger, but I found this nugget particularly interesting:

quote:

NOLA.com: You committed to LSU early, so does that pledge remain rock solid six months later? Or have you considered other schools at times?

JP: I'm committed to LSU, but I always listen to other coaches just in case there is another college better than LSU.

To be fair, this came out of the same interview:

quote:

NOLA.com: You committed to LSU after your junior year, but the offers continue to pile in. That includes offers from schools like Alabama. Were there benefits to committing to LSU early and how do you stay loyal to your pledge?

JP: I found there were many benefits about committing to LSU early. Most of the benefits were just knowing where you were going early so that the coaches can tell you things that you need to work on before you get there so you can be ready and hop right in with some of the veterans. Of course, you won't be as experienced as them, but sometimes being mentally and physically ready can balance that out.

he's not going anywhere, I wouldn't worry

especially after this offense highlights the tight ends for the first time in a very long time

Why is the interview tactic to always ask the question in such a way to second guess the kids decision?

Eh I don't find that quote to be concerning at all...I think what the kid was trying to say is that if he finds a school that is a better fit for him than LSU he would go there, but he hasn't found that. Basically, kid is going to try to make the best decision for himself, as well he should. I doubt anything will change for that to not be LSU - in this day in age you have continue to recruit the committed guys just as hard as the uncommitted.

I bet that the majority of recruits will continue to listen to other schools even after they have committed. Remeber that Foster kid that got the Auburn tat and end up signing with bama
