Yeah Captain I have no doubt there may be real interest there but taking a kid at a position of need out of Lousiana to go all the way to California will be a tough task for Riley. I mean look at Domink McKinley. We all assumed for months, hell almost a year that he was gone then we make changes and we get him. Just saying hard to pull these kids out of this state for anyone other than Saban. We will see but honestly with transfer portal and nil, I just don't get too excited anymore till they are on campus anyway lol

With regards to Maason, I hate that it didn't work out with him. Injury, and constant turnover at the dl line coach (although missing work for health was not his fault) didn't set Maason up for success. I wish Maason would have returned for another year as I think Bo could have worked him significantly up the draft board but I respect his decision. I think Stewart sees the improvement on the Dline this year from Bo and sees immediate play time + the combination of playing for his state in front of family and friends as too big to pass up.

That thing LSU put out with guys Bo has coached and the money they made in the league speaks for itself. I'm sure Peoples is a great coach or Baker wouldn't have fought for him like he did. I'm sure the D line will show improvement this year but real change will begin when we get the talent needed back on the line. With our new staff we should get this guy, he'd be a huge step in the right direction getting a talent like that

Only thing that gives me slight pause.
I still don't see it. Henderson is a hell of a coach and motivator. Honestly I wanted him at lsu. I think he would've killed it here. He is going to get some top recruits to usc.

Great hire for them. Opening game we get to see who made the better defensive staff changes.
