Jabbar Juluke - Cliffs of Interview on 104.5

For those of you that don't get over to tRant, below are some cliffs from is interview this morning on 104.5.
(quotes are very close to accurate - I typed as he talked):


He will put LSU first - will do all he can to represent LSU and CLM as well as he can. "Its about the university, not about me. Its about the men we are bring in to LSU."

He has always talked with CFW for a while - they were close.

He will influence LF and the whole RB room as much as he can - to do all he can to improve them on and off the field. It is important to work hard and give back to your community.

Wanted CLM to know that he is an extremely hard worked.

He will build relationships - "shake the bushes, look under rocks" and "LSU will be as strong as ever".

I am from Louisiana and want to represent LSU - "growing up in LA, we ALL have had a dream of playing in Tiger Standium and playing in the purple and gold"

"I want to make sure we work our tail off"

How he goes about recruiting:

"I want to know where you come from, what are his ambitions, what are his goals, what he wants to do, b/c one day you will not be able to play football - how do you what to survive?... I want you to become a better husband, a better father, to become a better citizen than your father and your mother - I want you to be better than I am. I want you to go out and be productive and I want you to continue to go out and build this brand of Louisiana State University and they you will be a part of this family, no matter how long you live - you will be able to come back to LSU no matter how long you live.... We are here to support these young men in their endeavors."



I think Jabar and I could be friends - I like what he's thinking.
