Keep in mind they are still favored to land Burch and Flowe. That would give them 4 of the top 5 ranked players on 247.

As soon as a Clemson poster stated they were only taking 22-23, i crunched the numbers and saw a few teams could pass them.
Class calculator makes it easy to see how different scenarios may play out.
It’s an open race right now depending how a few teams finish.

There’s 3 contenders for the #1 class and 3 contenders for Jordan Burch
Whoever gets Jordan Burch will also get the #1 class (UGA,LSU,CL)

A few insiders on non-LSU boards are claiming there is a legitimate possibility that LSU flips DJ. We were in his top 3 back in the spring along with Clemson and Oregon.
It's no secret his younger brother and entire family visited for the Auburn game. I have a hard time believing that was all for his younger brother, who is is a 2023 recruit.

We’re already having uncomfortable conversations with recruits, but the QB one would be awkward if DJ jumped on board.

Yea. But we'd have to do it. And it may take care of itself... one of them would likely see the lack of PT in future and bail, if not both....

Ha. I was about to ask which would we prefer if we could only have one?
If we landed DJ, doubt Caleb commits to sit for two years presumably....
If not, I think we have a good shot with Caleb if we show consistency next year in passing game...
