Interesting statement made by Caleb Roddy.

I have always wondered what Les has told committed players about visiting other schools. I wasn't sure if he would say "Hey enjoy the process" or "Now that you're a Tiger, you really shouldn't look at any other schools". Well, Caleb has kind of answered that question.

Miles doesn't want him taking unofficial visits, but isn't sure of his thoughts on officials.

He said when asked about visits (paraphrasing) "I don't know if I can, coach Miles doesn't want me taking anymore unofficials, but it's good to get out and go see California, I'm definitely going to LSU."
I would say don't read too much into it. It's part of recruiting to know when you can make demands and when you can't. I'm not knocking Roddy, but I'd be willing to bet the conversation is a little different with a 5-star.

Is it possible he's talking this is coming from his HS coach? Asking because maybe I'm missing something... seems it could be either to me.
