I had gotten pessimistic recently to be honest, but no more! Mathis will be a great addition to our DL depth.

To be honest, I was kind of p.o'ed about losing Etienne too at first, but after hearing about the RB's we are in on for the 2018 class, I'm over him. LSU should be okay there. I have faith in CEO.

Agreed. I am really excited about NSD, it could be a great one for LSU.

Apparently, Bryant and Taylor are being CB'd to LSU more than Chaisson, who it looks like is trending to Texas (but who knows, really at this point?). With Willie Gay, it all comes down to his mom, who wants him to stay in Starkville, per Shea Dixon. The word according to Dixon is that Phillips and other LSU commits are working on Gay pretty hard right now.

Talked with a coach from Neville at a softball tournament today. He says Mathis is TCU bound.
