at first i was ticked off about losing him to UT, but the sting has gone away. We are and will be stacked in the defensive backfield for years to come.

He was a great Louisiana player. No real way to sugarcoat it. Is our defense gonna falter now? Hell no. We're LSU. Ever seen brandon Taylor and PP play?! But he will be a good one and it sucks what happened, no doubt.

He was a great talent. He can be replaced.

Honestly we are to the point where it's rare we are really gonna miss one player. Obviously he could have been a great player, but really it's his loss more than LSU's.

Really too early to tell, if he becomes the next Champ Baily than yes we will miss him terribly, if he just becomes a decent starter for them then no we can find that on our roster already. I remember the hype about Eugene and he hasn't been that impressive.

He was committed to us for almost a whole year. I think that would quality to say he was ours.

Until you sign your letter of intent, you are free. So NO, we never had him and I don't miss him.

Bottom line: UT need him WAY MO than LSU did.

Bottom line: He's a great Louisiana player and we want / need all of them.

Sucks to lose him, BUT, the manner in which we lost him softens the blow BIG TIME. He and his dad were revealed as pieces of shite character people... doesn't hurt so much when those types go elsewhere.

I mean, I wish we had kept him. He was a good talent. If I had to pick an SEC team to go to, I'm glad he's at UT. He will play against Bama every year and hopefully shut down Julio.

I don't like Kiffin or Coach O, but if they can be competitive and beat UF and Bama occasionally, that helps us.
