They may not care about the final score, and there are some things that actually were good for recruiting that happened (spots open for competition, Harris getting PT as a frosh and looking great) but the stadium clearing out and giving up on the team in the 3rd was terrible. That's exactly the kind of thing that they DO care about.

Yeah unfortunately...every recruit that was at the game basically called me after and told me they were not coming to LSU. They cited the crowd leaving early and us losing as the main reasons. Sucks

I was in Section 106, Row 16, and I swear I saw Shea down on the field pregame. Was looking for Lodge, but didnt see him. Saw a ton of the others mentioned though. Guice sat just below us and he stayed all the way until about 5 minutes left in the game. Those last 4 minutes are the reason I love LSU football. It can be bleak as hell, but with our talent, anything can happen. The place was electric from Harris/Dupres first TD until the last second ticked off. Even though we lost, us faithful who stayed gave our guys a standing O because they earned it for never giving up. We may not have won, but that unwavering love for our Tigers is what makes LSU great. I just wish our administration would stop pricing those die hards out of the market, so that all these young money fair weather fans can leave after the 3rd quarter, but I'll leave that for another thread and time. It was great seeing those young guys at the end give us a chance at victory.
