Keith,
Thanks for being a part of the TD family and sharing Kristian's recruiting journey with us. I hate to see something that should be a fun time in your lives be turned into a high-stress circus. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy the last semester of having Kristian at home as he prepares for the next steps with his education and football career. All the best to you and your family.

I hope your son is very successful regardless of his choice. You have been a class act all through the process.

Hope he is a Tiger!!! Best of luck with the decision!

If the Hog & Gator fans are acting like this now, imagine how they would react if he had a bad game or something. We would all LOVE to see him stay HOME & this would also give you the ability to be there quickly when he needs you.

I sincerely hope that you & your wife have peace and no stress this week.

Best of luck for you, your family and your son. This has to be a tough situation to go through but fortunately it ends on Wednesday.

Eat some great Louisiana food, kick back and welcome home!!!

Sorry for the stress, muddbone. I think I may have said it before, but an immediate relative of mine played pro ball at QB. I was the only member of the family to be on message boards. All of the rest barely even read the paper due to the frustration of other people's idiocy from fans to reporters.

Anyway, there are great things about being online but there are also crappy things. Be prepared for the good with the bad. Just wait until your son gets torched for a touchdown and his school loses as a result, you'll see a level of vitriol you've never experienced from message board heroes.

I read people hoping my relative got run over by a bus and other death wishes as a result of his play. Good times. That being said, I still hang on the message board I joined for his team, despite the fact he's retired from the league for quite a few years.

Anyway, this phase will be over soon, and the honeymoon of whatever school your son attends will begin. Good luck to your entire family!

Here's hoping your son is the next great DB @ LSU.

I think it's awesome you're involved with your son and I'm sure he appreciates you.

All due respect, but if he wanted to talk to Arkansas fans, he knows where you congregate.

Last time your fellow hog fans turned his thread into a shite show. We'd rather not see that here.

Have a great day.

I'm not speaking as a hog fan but as a fan and family member of a player who has been down the road they are about to travel.

Also: not sure I remember hog fans being in on the okra shite show.

Mr. Fulton, as a relative of a former LSU football player and a mentor to a current 2017 LSU recruit (Top 100 in his class), you have handled this situation with class. All you can do is gather the information, present the information to your son, visit the schools of interest and step aside and let your son determine where does HE wants to spend the next 3-4 years of his life.

These are the steps I have taken and will continue to take with kids I mentor. I also let them know the advantages of staying Home. But ultimately the decision is to be made by the individual. With that being said from all indications are that your son and your family has handled this recruitment with class and of course we all are hoping he put on the Purple and Gold on signing day. And if not, he still is a class young man and deserve our respect from the way he has handled his recruitment.
