If you took the All-State teams from each state and played a big ole tourney...

How you think Louisiana would fare?
Would be a super talented group year-in and year-out. I imagine sheer numbers would help California/Texas/Florida, etc.

Until 2012 they had an LA v TX all star bowl.
I think it declined with the rise of other bowls.
I think the series is 6-4-1 Texas which isn't bad considering the size disparity, and this is was probably the 6th most popular bowl game.

Boy, I'd sure feel sorry for states like Rhode Island, New Hampshire, etc.
Come to think of it, how about we cut the field to around half? With some of these games, they may be picking bodies up bc the talent gap would be so huge.
That being said, I think it would be great to watch and I believe Louisiana could stay in* the top 5-10.

True - we can hang with all the states IMHO even with such a lower population. Imagine LA's roster if you were to take just current NFL players from the state - it's ridiculous.

Did not even think about this. Ok maybe not all 50 states, but just the top dogs. Man that would be a fun arse tournament
