Hypothetically speaking, If Travis Etienne does sign...

I can't wait for him to silence some of his critics. He has raw talent and time to develop. Into an EXCELLENT running back at that. Don't sleep on the kid. He will make noise wherever he goes (a lot of noise)! It's just something you have to witness with your own eyes.

Yeah some people act like he's a Terrance Magee or something. Kid has serious talent and athleticism.

I hope he comes in with a chip ala DG

They'll be the same "fans" giving high praise. And if he goes elsewhere and LSU has to play him, they will see. The chance is more than likely. 2 SEC schools and the National Champs.

As I recall, Terrance Magee was a QB in HS converted to a RB - and be turned out to be a damn fine one for LSU - if not behind Hill and Fournette, an even more significant load he would've carried for LSU. Let's not take a back-handed slap at Magee here - he represented LSU very, very well and we were lucky to have him.

Bravo!

Magee and spencer ware were tough hombres!!! Loved to watch them hit defenders full speed.

Good post. Terrence Magee was a great tiger. He was moved to wide receiver when there was a logjam at RB. No bitching,no drama, just did what he was asked. Same thing Joseph Addai did. Also never any off field issues. I hope Travis Etienne comes to LSU and represents like other great Tiger RBs.

I only watched him once last year and it was their playoff lost to Kaplan. He was held pretty much in check all game (obviously not all his fault). Regardless, he really impressed me. The game turned into a blowout and he continued to run with heart sometimes breaking 2-3 tackles a run for 3 yards. Not once did i see him complain or show poor sportsmanship. As an LSU fan I walked away from that game wanting him to get an offer and be a tiger. Heres to hoping he choses to stay home!!

Right? He should be insulted to be compared to a guy who went on to the NFL.

I can't wait to see him in Purple and Gold!

I hope that LSU can sway him to see something no one else was able to. He said he enjoyed his Clemson visit.

Terrence is still in the league and getting paid.....not bad, plus as others have pointed out, he was a team guy that never got in trouble.

Well I hope he remembers, there is no gumbo, no crawfish, and no boudin in Clemson, and he can't just hop in his car and take 1-10 to be home in an hour and fifteen minutes for Sunday dinner with his folks.

I always liked him when he was at LSU, solid player who played the game all out and did whatever was asked of him, always gave 100%.
