Trey L wanted to come back for another visit with the family in tow. That probably won't happen due to logistics, but the gesture speaks volumes. Not to mention Oregon just offered some JUCO DT last minute.

Yep, and as you touched on, he immediately started twitter networking with other lsu guys, specifically jacory.
I like him as a take with the number of spots remaining spots in mind. He may be a touch small for a dt, but could end up as a badass fullback like copeland, or a third down rush specialist. Either way, he seemed to fall in love with lsu, the campus and food enthusiastically, and that's what vaults his stock for me

Not LF, per se, but he was concerned how he would fit into LSU's Offense. Oklahoma State has a player on their roster that Boo played with back in Utah and a few Poly kids he just felt really comfortable with. Also, Gundy promised him he'd be the starting tailback when they open the season vs FSU.

Damn, that is a huge commitment on Gundy's part. It will be interesting to see if it bears true. Can't be unhappy with what we got in this class, but Palelei would have been a nice change of pace to the other two. He is a good fit at OSU though.
