I have been very happy with Cam and the way the offense uses the receivers. I see Quinn like Jarvis Landry. My hope is they would start using the tight end. Desean Smith could be dangerous and a big mismatch for defenses. I know it probably won't happen but they could throw to Smith at least 3-4 times per game minimum.

All the film I watch truly reminds me of much smaller, but faster Jeff Samardzija in how he plays in space and along the sidelines.

Has Quinn ever attended camps, or 7v7s, etc with Jennings? Just wondering what he thinks of AJ.

You get a pass because if you wanted to make a reference to a white WR you had like 15 other options before Samardzija

Carr was my coach at one point. At first we had no idea he was a bad a$$ receiver. Great guy.

The Z is the split flanker

The Y is the tight end

The slot receiver is usually designated with a completely separate letter such as S, J, H, or something similar

I sees what I sees. They both have/had great body control, fantastic hands, and an awareness to drool over. Not saying Quinn will be as good as old Samardzija, but he definitely has the potential. If we get anything close to what Samardzija brought to ND out of Quinn then the future will be bright for him and us as fans.

I don't say shite like this often but I honestly believe if he was black he would be a 5 star...he's just as fast as anyone, he has hands like Landry (Landry is the Goat in my book), and he runs routes as good as anyone.....height is his only knock which sites have overlooked for 5 star status in the past with WRs with Quinn's measurables and stats.

Leslie seems to be squarely in the 'bust' category.

To be fair we all thought dural leslie and diarse would play. No one knew Landry and Beckham would blow up like they have. It was discussed so many times the lack of a tall deep threat and how unsure the wrs hands were last season. No one saw both of them getting to 1k yds.

I wouldn't label any one a bust because they rode the bench behind Beckham and Landry. That's just absurd.

For Quinn we will just have to wait. Plenty of talent here and possibly coming in. Everyone will have to fight for a spot. But I don't doubt he will do great things here. Just might not be next year.

I think we will utilize them more, but the qb still has to throw it to him. With Smith maybe the coaches just felt his blocking wasn't up to par. Which us obviously important when they run. You guys talk about being predictable and you can't just bring him in on passing plays. Still got high hopes for the 2013 class. Them coupled with a string finish this year will get us back to ATL.
